De Europese Commissie heeft besloten: het verbod op pelsdierhouderij wordt uitgesteld tot minstens maart 2026. Dit besluit vormt de langverwachte reactie op het Europees burgerinitiatief ‘Fur Free Alliance'- dat 1.7 miljoen handtekeningen inzamelde om het dierenleed in de bontindustrie te doen stoppen.
Dit onderstreept voor de zoveelste keer de corruptie van het systeem. Dit slaat werkelijk nergens op. Het is al lang en breed bewezen dat de dieren in de bontindustrie een afschuwelijk bestaan en gruwelijke doodstraf te wachten staat. Bont was een van de allereerste thema’s aan dierenleed dat door dierenrechtenactivisten werd bestreden. Vijf decennia aan protest -al in de jaren ’70 werd hard gestreden om dit walgelijk dierenleed te beëindigen. Undercover onderzoek, overweldigend bewijs van dierenleed en dit is vandaag de dag de reactie vanuit ‘de EU’.
Binnen dit systeem geldt geen rechtvaardigheid, geen respect voor het leven van mens, dier en natuur. Het draait om geld, macht, onderdrukking en destructie. De natuur, de ziel van dier en mens wordt genadeloos kapotgemaakt. Ja, ik ben boos. Maar de strijd gaat door!

The European Commission has decided: the ban on fur farming will be postponed until at least March 2026. This decision represents the long-awaited response to the European citizens' initiative 'Fur Free Alliance' - which collected 1.7 million signatures to stop animal suffering in the fur industry.
This underlines for the umpteenth time the corruption of the system. This really doesn't make any sense. It has long been proven that animals in the fur industry face a horrible existence and a gruesome death penalty. Fur was one of the very first issues of animal suffering that was combated by animal rights activists. Five decades of protest - already in the 1970s, there was a hard fight to end this disgusting animal suffering. Undercover investigation, overwhelming evidence of animal suffering and this is the response from 'the EU' today.
Within this system there is no justice, no respect for the lives of people, animals and nature. It's about money, power, oppression and destruction. Nature, the souls of animals and humans are mercilessly destroyed. Yes, I'm angry. But the battle continues!
